Joining all the lands, in no mans land is a great river that has smaller rivers flowing off of it into all the lands. A mare or filly need only follow these smaller rivers to the main one and find somewhere to wait for a future stallion to claim her. I guess this is where the herds are formed. Also younger stallions may come here, to try and claim fillies their own age while they still have a chance.
